Keith got the icing on his birthday cake yesterday. We went out fishing again in the afternoon and released another smaller male king, but decided to keep this 45 inch female.
Fishing always makes Keith happy!

Where are Beaver Creek Cabins located?
Our address is 1215 Angler Drive in Kenai, Alaska. It's a beautiful 3 hour drive (or 30 minute flight) from the Anchorage International Airport to our cabins. From Anchorage you'll take the Seward Highway to the Sterling Highway to Soldotna. From Soldotna take the Kenai Spur Highway North approximately 6 miles to Beaver Loop Road and take a left. Travel 1.7 miles and take another left on Angler Drive. Beaver Creek Cabins & Guide Service is the 13th driveway on the left.

Hey you two. I didn't know you were entitled to birthdays Keith. I suppose you get one every year.
Congrats on surviving another one -- and then to catch that King. Pretty nice.
Anyway, Happy Birthday late. I have been busy here in Minnesota -- chasing golf balls and fish.
Haven't seen your dad for a couple weeks but I've talked to your mom a few times. Sounds like she has company at the hospital lots of days with Bert's sisters.
Lookin' forward to August and the Silvers. Those Kings sure look nice though.
